J.P. Morgan and Microsoft have announced they have signed an agreement to form a strategic partnership to accelerate the adoption of enterprise blockchain being Quorum, developed by J.P. Morgan, the first distributed ledger platform available through Azure Blockchain Service.
Regarding today's announcement Umar Farooq, Global Head of Blockchain, J.P. Morgan mentioned: "We are incredibly proud of the success Quorum has had over the last four years, as organizations around the world use Quorum to solve complex business and societal problems via blockchain solutions,” “We are delighted to partner alongside Microsoft as we continue to strengthen Quorum and expand capabilities and services on the platform.”
Quorum is one of everis Technology practice Blockchain and DLT mastered platforms and has being used in certain clients where an enterprise version of Ethereum - deployed as a permissioned network with additional privacy features - was required.
On the other hand Microsoft has been prioritized by NTT Data (everis parent company) as the first Global Partner (additionally NTT Group is a Global Account for Microsoft) and everis is now a Managed Partner in all geographies of the group.
All in all this is a great announcement for everis and the Blockchain practice which reinforces the partnerships we sustain and nurture in this industry.
